E. HOWARD PRESENTATION BANJO CLOCK  $10,000.00

This is an authentic E. Howard Boston Presentation Banjo Clock from around ?  Maybe as early as 1870 I am told.  I have owned this clock for nearly 25 years.  The clock came out of Keene, New Hampshire many, many years ago.  The clock is a great time keeper and has worked flawlessly for the entire period of time that I have owned it.   The clock is all original, it has the original finish and the original reverse glass painting.  I can get more close ups of the dial and the pendulum which is highly engraved. There is a small crack in the lower right hand corner of the front panel painting.  That is how I received the clock, I understand that it can be repaired.  The reverse painting is magnificent, it has plenty of gold leaf but the gold does not show up well in my images.  I have taken plenty of images with varied lighting, but these are the best that I have  Also please note that once the thumbnail is clicked to enlarge the image, you can give it another click to super-size it. There are reproductions of early, original Howard clocks, in fact I went to the new factory about 25 years ago.  This clock appears to be constructed of mahogany and some walnut, the glue that is visible is certainly from the distant past.  The dial says E. Howard & Co. and then below on the next line, Boston.   The number "13" is on the wood case and also on the door, the numbers written on the reverse of the lower panel of glass are:
18916
18500
#4492
15975#
#78959

All of the numbers on the glass are written in pencil.
